Independent label: In-Effect was a short-lived imprint of Relativity Records in the USA, mostly used for punk and metal acts from the East Coast of the United States. The imprint was discontinued in 1991 when it reverted back into its parent label Relativity who was a sub-label of Sony Music Entertainment Inc. It managed two singles in the UK. It issued singles in an Sony 600000 numerical series. Distributed By Sony Music Records.
