Independent label: The Mecca Holding Co is a small record labels. Initially set up in 1994 as a vehicle for releasing Moondials recordings it also acted as an umbrella organisation involved in organising European tours and promoting concerts in Scotland. The label also started the UK's first open stage where all the bands instruments were available for songwriters / bands to try out new songs. Stuart Murdoch from Belle and Sebastian regularly attended to play songs that would later grace Tigermilk as did many other amazing acts. Mecca also supported a long programme of street poster and graffiti art. Distributed By The Mecca Holding Co Records.
