Whatever Records was a DIY label formed in 1994 in Tamworth Staffordshire by singer John Fox and Dj Mike West aka Francis Mauger. It managed one single By Jack and Danny from Sheffield. It was made as a fun tape for mike's radio show at Palace FM, there was so much intrest in the song they had it Mastered at abbey road studio, there was only 500 made and was sold in local records shops in Tamworth. Palace FM was probably Tamworth's first community radio station. The brainchild of Paul and Pam Pearce, Palace FM was based in the council-run Palace Media Centre (hence the station's name). It issued singles in an 000 numerical series. Distributed By John Fox and Mike West.
