Independent label: Wildcard was a dance sublabel of Polydor Records. It issued
singles in an CARD-0 numerical series. Nu Colours are led by Lawrence
Johnson and were the first act signed to Polydor Records’ rap/soul division Wild
Card. They made a minor impact in 1992 with two singles, ‘Tears’ and ‘Power’,
both gaining positions in the lower regions of the UK’s Top 75. After a third
single, ‘What In The World’, they gained their biggest success with a 1993
re-release of ‘Power’, which reached number 40. China Black was a British
pop-reggae duo, consisting of Simon Fung (songwriter, composer, lyricist,
guitarist, keyboardist, arranger and record producer) and Errol Reid
(singer-songwriter) The band took its name from the different backgrounds of its
members. Finn, who is British-Chinese ('China') and Reid, who has Jamaican
heritage ('Black'). Alisha Warren Real Name: Paula Alysha Wallen is the sister
of Mica Paris. Ultimate KAOS was a British boyband from the 1990s, who were
formed by Simon Cowell. Its original members comprised Jomo Baxter, Jayde
Delpratt, Ryan Elliott, Nick Grant and the then 9 years old Haydon Eshun.
Lighthouse Family are a British musical duo that rose to prominence in the
mid-1990s and remained active until the early 2000s. Vocalist Tunde Baiyewu and
keyboardist Paul Tucker formed the act in 1993 in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK after
meeting while studying at university and both working at the same bar.
